The Foundation teaches group members/ participants how to become empowered by telling their story.

As an added bonus members/ participants have the option to publish their story with The Survivors with Voices Publishing Company.

Kelly Ellis-Johnson

Kelly Johnson is a 40 year old divorcee and mother of 3 beautiful children. She is also a Survivor of Rejection, Infidelity and Spiritual Incest. She was born and raised in Ohio and immediately after graduating high school decided to join the military. It wasn't until she heard the Lord telling her to move to her hometown in Ohio that she came to the realization that she needed to deal with these feelings that resulted from spiritual incest, infidelity and rejection. She wanted to empower women to move past abusive relationships (both physically and mentally) and be free. She knows however that as God has placed Survivors with Voices in my path to acknowledge those feelings and be transparent so that others can feel empowered to unlock their voices; she says," I am doing the right thing and I am thankful for Alissa's (Founder of SWV Foundation) role in my life. The more I tell my story the stronger I become both mentally and spiritually. Chains are being broken. I am a Survivor!"
